"Gannets"

A few of the thousands of gannets that breed on the Bass Rock which lies off North Berwick at the entrance to the Forth. The incredible noise (and smell) of these hordes of birds crammed onto this precipitous bare rocky island is unforgettable. They are very handsome birds with a spectacular dive bomber style of catching their fish.
